Education and Experience

Megan is a licensed professional counselor who graduated from Lesley University with a master’s degree in mental health counseling with a specialization in drama therapy. Megan prides herself on providing trauma-informed care through the lens of an expressive arts therapist. In addition to being trauma-informed, Megan has had extensive training in conducting Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for those with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and other anxiety related disorders. Megan has experience working within the LGBTQIA+ population, both with kids/teens and adults. She also has experience working with client’s who might be struggling with depression, substance use disorders (in recovery), have difficulties expressing anger, or need help adjusting to any one of life’s challenges all by using a unique combination of tools to fit each client. Some of these tools include play and art therapies in addition to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Megan works with children ages 4-12, adolescents, and adults of all ages.
